Seih Al Bardi Park, Sharjah

Seih Al Bardi Park, Sharjah

The Seih Al Bardi Safari Park expansion in Sharjah is a landmark development, creating the largest safari park outside of Africa and accommodating over 50,000 animals within a natural landscape setting. The project required the construction of 145 raised “islands” with irregular geometries to replicate natural terrain for animal enclosures. The client was facing challenges in achieving a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable solution while constructing complex, steep slopes with a natural appearance.

POME delivered an optimized reinforced soil solution that enabled the formation of steep, sculpted slopes using locally sourced materials, creating durable, natural-looking landscapes while significantly reducing cost, construction complexity, and environmental impact.
