The E11 – Madinat Zayed Link Road is a critical 50 km coastal highway corridor connecting Abu Dhabi to the Western Region, upgraded from a two-lane road to a four-lane strategic route. Severe pavement deterioration triggered a major rehabilitation programme involving large-scale overlays and full reconstruction over long sections, making this one of the most significant highway rehabilitation projects in the region.
Through POME’s value-engineering solution, the project avoided large-scale full reconstruction, enabling major sections to be rehabilitated efficiently while controlling cost, time, and programme risk.
