Emirates Road Extension, Sharjah

Emirates Road Extension, Sharjah

The Emirates Road Extension (Second Phase) in Sharjah is a key infrastructure upgrade enhancing connectivity at the Khorfakkan junction, requiring a retaining wall to support a raised substation adjacent to major highways. The client was facing challenges in delivering a structurally efficient and visually appealing solution, as the wall would be prominently visible from two major roads.

POME delivered an optimized MSE wall solution featuring a two-tier system with architectural finishes, accommodating curved geometry and varying heights while utilizing site-won materials to reduce cost and improve efficiency, resulting in a durable and aesthetically integrated infrastructure solution.
